Bottom Fishing: Winter Flounder, Doormat Fluke, Black Sea Bass, Porgies (Scup), and Blackfish
We are going to start out 2023 fishing for Boston Harbor Flounder. Departing Winthrop, MA in Boston Harbor to increase your fishing time on the blackback grounds. Max of 6 persons on board. It was a ton of fun last year and we had limits regularly for some of the tastiest fish around. Give me a ring and hop on-board. $150 pp open boat min. 4 passengers max. of 6. All tackle, bait, cold drinks provided.
Mid-summer there is great fishing for doormat fluke along with big Stripers in RI and CT. Trips are based in Mystic CT. The black sea bass will also start to chew in August. Hop on-board this summer and we'll bend some rods and send you home with fillets for dinner. Fluke of 4-6 lb are common-place using tackle just heavy enough to tend bottom. Once the fall run begins I will offer combo light tackle and bottom fishing. Blackfishing will be another option in mid-October as well.

Enjoy the best in light tackle sight fishing for these surface charging New England speedsters. We use quality light spinning and fly tackle by fin nor, quantum, sage and cheeky. The bite during the fall of 2022 was epic with multiple hookups on albies commonplace. Plenty of big blues and fall bass were destroying baits as well on the same trips. It was awesome. 2023 should be a great year. Albie trips are departing from Mystc, CT in September and early October. We had 100% success on my trips in 2022! All fish taken on fly and light spin gear.
Trophy striped bass fishing with live eels is an option on the reefs and rockpiles of eastern long island sound starting in June. We see many nice fish come out of this area every summer on early morning and late evening trips.
Evening Bluefish Trips: Come on out after work on a Friday night and hammer the blues. Style of fishing is your option we can fish light tackle or diamond jig to put some big chopperz on deck.
Also Note : We will be fishing the Cape in mid August focused specifically on the green bonito. Combo trips with Fluke and Black Sea bass as well.. The bite was just awesome last year.
